The NG Series Stress Free is a compact electric drum-style anchor winch used to raise, lower and secure anchors from the helm at the touch of a button.
The patented design allows the anchor to be lowered under powered control at 90 fpm or to freefall without risk of over run or tangles at up to 600 fpm which means in 60 feet of water the anchor is on the bottom in 6 seconds.
The built in actuating mechanism disengages the drum off the drive system and acts as a brake to prevent the spool from over run by continuously applying an even load at both ends of the drum.
Once the free fall actuator is switched to OFF the robust drive is automatically re-engaged, locking the mechanism so that additional tying off is not necessary.
