Known for their range of highly reliable and fit to purpose marine electronics, TMQ International Pty Ltd continues to grow and develop new products for professional mariners. An Australian owned and operated Manufacturer and Distributor since 1974, TMQ’s core offering includes ruggedized Autopilots, the C-Drive steering control unit for dual or single rudders, C-PLOT ECS, C-Trak Vessel Tracking software, and Decktalk Intercom and PABX.
New developments include NMEA products, designed as elegant add-ons within an existing network, which offer the operator even further options to manage their navigation. The New Release Net106 Ethernet Network Combiner takes multiple NMEA inputs and combines them into a single Ethernet output. Users can connect their Autopilot, Sounder, AIS, GPS and more to their PC and manage them all within a simple browser interface.
For those needing to extend their network, TMQ’s NMEA Buffer unit distributes up to 2 NMEA data input streams into 4 or 8 optically isolated RS422 outputs, effectively increasing the connection potential. The unit can also daisy chain to another data buffer. Both the Net106 and NMEA Buffer are compact, lightweight and fully self contained, manufactured from a rugged ABS and polycarbonate material.
A popular computer based Chart Plotter, TMQ’s C-PLOT is available in versions integrating either Navionics or Jeppensen C-MAP cartography, offering freshest data and advanced features. New Release C-PLOT 3D (designed to operate in conjunction with standard C-PLOT) offers navigators, sports fishing enthusiasts and surveyors the opportunity to map the sea floor in real time, displaying an accurate rendering of conditions below their vessel when integrated with a Sounder and GPS system. C-PLOT 3D is available as a free trial by visiting the TMQ website.
TMQ products are designed to function in the harsh marine conditions of Australian waters, but are distributed worldwide via their international distribution network and export partner AMI. For more information on distribution of TMQ products, visit www.ami-tmq.com
