Marine Industry Action Agenda 

The Federal Minister for Industry Tourism and Resources, Ian Macfarlane, announced in January 2006 the establishment of a marine industries action agenda.  The Action agenda is a partnership between the marine industry and the Federal govt, to assist the growth of the marine sector. This is the vehicle the industry needs to ensure direct involvement with govt to identify and address the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. To drive this action agenda a strategic industry leaders group has been established.  AIMEX is well represented within this group to ensure the concerns of Australian marine export business are heard.


Members who are looking to attend international attend trade shows should go to the member only section of the website/international markets and look at the MIAA trade show calendar for information on the MIAA view of opportunities in particular countries.
