AQUALUMA ANNOUNCES ASIAN DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

Australian based Aqualuma has again responded to a significant increase in demand for their world leading, non-corrosive underwater lighting range, this time in Asia. In the past six months Aqualuma has developed both its European and American distribution centres to service an ever increasing demand from OEM manufacturers and retailers.
Aqualuma Managing Director Carl Amor said: “The demand for the Aqualuma product across the range has been significant. Our most recent release, the FF9 Surface Mount has been a strong contributor to sales in the region, due to its high light output and also that it does not require a thru-hull fitting. Accordingly we have responded to demand and opened this distribution centre.”
The Asian distribution centre will carry in excess of one million dollars stock of Aqualuma product with holdings of each model, as well as the GEN II upgrade for existing users. After-sales and product support for the Asian region will also be located in Hong Kong.
Substantial stock holdings will allow the centre to ship same day to all regions in Asia without delay. This service has become an important consideration for many of the manufacturing yards within the region, to ensure there are no production delays.
The distribution centre will be managed and operated by Todd Barr, Managing Director of Whitewater, who commented that “the quality of the Aqualuma product range has seen demand escalate. This region expects to fit quality products to the vessels they are building and Aqualuma ticks the box in every category. More recently we have seen the Aqualuma product not just being ordered by the premium yacht builders in the region but also the many yards servicing the enormous demand for refits, which has seen many of our clients returning to order the GEN II upgrade!”

Additionally the Directors announced the release of the Spreader Light, a non-corrosive light that again expands the Aqualuma product range but this time above water, which is suited to new builds, refits and after market vessels,
