AQUALUMA ANNOUNCES EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

Underwater lighting specialists ‘Aqualuma’ have today announced their European Distribution Centre based in Poole.

Australian based Aqualuma has responded to significant European demand for their market leading products by opening a distribution centre based in Poole which will be responsible for the supply of the Aqualuma range of products throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.

Aqualuma Managing Director Carl Amor said: “Demand for the Aqualuma product range in the United Kingdom and Europe has continued to grow through-out 2009 even though market conditions have been testing. Accordingly we have responded to support our European distributors and OEM’s by opening this centre which will allow us to ship product anywhere in Europe within 3 to 4 days and if the order is required urgently we have the ability to deliver to most locations within 24hrs’.

The European distribution centre will carry 3 to 4 months worth of Aqualuma product at any given time. In addition the centre will service the GEN II upgrade program, which was launched in December 2008, as well as handling after sales and product support.

Pricing has been revised as a result of the European Distribution Centre, ensuring that Aqualuma will be offering distributors and OEM’s fixed pricing in Euros on a quarterly basis. This will ensure that fluctuations in currency exchange rates and shipping costs will not affect the pricing offered making it easier for distributors and is a clear advantage for OEM’s where Aqualuma is the standard choice for underwater lights on build schedules.
