UNDERWATER LIGHTING INNOVATOR AQUALUMA ANNOUNCES
A NEW HIGH-OUTPUT LED LIGHT AND BRACKET DESIGNED FOR DOCKS AND MARINAS
Three Available Colors Light up the Night, Add Beauty and Safety to Waterfront Property
Marine lighting innovator Aqualuma Underwater Lighting from
Queensland, Australia has engineered a new underwater LED lighting
system specifically for use on docks, in marinas and around jetties.
Aqualuma’s new-for-2008 Dock/Marina Light features six high-output
LED elements and a unique curved face design that casts a wide glow
under and around docks, pilings, seawalls and jetties. Available in
white, blue or green, these new lights not only improve visibility and
safety when swimming, boating or docking after dark, they also add a
touch of beauty and distinction to any marina, yacht club or waterfront
home. Underwater lighting also attracts a wide variety of inshore
gamefish — including sought after species like tarpon and snook.
This is an added bonus for those who like to fish off their seawall or
around their dock at night.
With Aqualuma’s out of the “Bronze Age” philosophy, they have again achieved a corrosion proof light with
a rugged, high-tech thermal polymer construction. Aqualuma’s Dock/Marina Lights also have no metal parts
in contact with the water. Their leak proof construction eliminates corrosion worries and withstands rough
treatment from boats, as well as Mother Nature. The light is attached to a sturdy fiberglass pole via a
reinforced nylon mounting bracket — so the entire system is weather and corrosion proof — and features
an easy pivot mount that allows the light to be swung out of the water for cleaning and simple maintenance.
Aqualuma’s new Dock/Marina Light operates on 12 volts DC and draws less than 1.5 amps per light unit.
This means that whether you use a single light or piggy back them for maximum underwater coverage, they
can provide nearly endless hours of illumination.
