The Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show is now in its 16th year. The Show is the third largest boat show in Australia, attracting an average audience of 22,000 people; and exhibitors from across the country come to the event to showcase their latest products and services to an eager audience.
Show Manager Peter Woods said that despite the industry feeling the effects of the economic downturn, last year’s show was still a success. He said this year with signs that economic confidence is growing, plus with the significant improvements that are planned in layout and design for the 2010 show, he is expecting bigger numbers in exhibitors, products and crowds.
“Last year we had more than 200 exhibitors and more than 500 boats, plus 112 on the water,” Mr Woods said.
“This year the Show features a new Super Marquee which is bigger, higher and wider, offering a more open interior display area. There have also been further refinements to the layout and a number of improvements made to aid in parking and transport.”
