MARITIMO APPOINTS AQUALUMA AS PEFERRED OEM UNDERWATER LIGHT

Underwater lighting specialists ‘Aqualuma’ have today confirmed Maritimo as the latest manufacturer to select the product range as OEM fit.

As one of Australia’s and the Worlds premier luxury motor yacht and sports convertible manufacturers Maritimo Offshore endeavor to fit only the very the best products available to the ever expanding model range.

Aqualuma’s Director Grant Amor says they’re exited about the deal, which he describes as a reunion of two high quality Australian products.

“We are now the sole supplier of underwater lighting to Maritimo and it’s something we’re excited about,” says Amor. “Maritimo is a very high quality product, and we like to associate ourselves with like brands. Maritimo is also expanding their market overseas, and we have our products all over the world which was another factor considered in selecting Aqualuma as an OEM fit, as our distribution centre’s have the ability to assist their customers with upgrades or technical support if required.

Whilst there was a brief period where Maritimo elected to fit a different brand, it was the reliability of Aqualuma’s thru hull range that brought the two groups together again. With a demanding customer base and the inconvienced caused with haul outs to repair lights from other suppliers which had reliability and performance issues.

Phil Frazer, Production Manager at Maritimo said “We feel great to have Aqualuma lights back on board again,” says Frazer. “The quality of the product, the after sales support, and the research that goes into the lights is probably the best in the world, which are of course supported by service centre’s right around the world so there’s a great support network.”

Maritimo, along with numerous other manufacturers have seen the level of innovation in the Aqualuma thru hull range. The “thru hull” range is non corrosive and fully serviceable from the inside of the vessel.
