Austral Propellers has announced the promotion of David Vincent to General Manager, following his previous positions of production manager and foundry manager.
Commenting on his appointment, Vincent says “With over 30 years involvement in our 70 year old family business, I am looking forward to taking control to further the development of both our leisure and commercial marine propeller manufacturing and repair businesses. Austral prides itself on personal service and has an established niche as an emergency supplier of new propellers. With a wealth of experience in our manufacturing process I am confident I will have a positive impact on future sales, as we strive to further our fast manufacturing lead-time capability.”
Vincent’s career in the marine industry has allowed him to establish strong relationships with many customers in both Australia and overseas, particularly within the USA. As the exchange rate differences slowly improve for Australian marine exporters, he is keen to re-establish the supply of emergency propellers to the worldwide marine industry.
Austral Propellers is based in Sydney, Australia and are specialist propeller manufacturers and repairers, as well as importers of a number of premium propeller brands, such as MaxProp feathering propellers and ACME skiboat propellers.
