SOS Marine is proud to announce that the SOS Recovery Ladder has been accepted into the 2015 METS Dame Awards. The DAME Design Award is the most prestigious international design competition for new marine equipment held in Amsterdam each year. This is SOS Marine`s third safety product to be accepted.
The SOS Recovery Ladder answers the question by all boats “How do we get back on board” says spokesperson SOS Marine.
The two-in-one-design multi-function of the SOS Recovery/Rescue Ladder performs two types of recovery using just one product. The rungs can be used as a ladder or the entire shape to horizontally lift a victim, parbuckle recovery style. This ease of use and comprehensive capabilities to save a life is why this product is a worthy candidate for the DAME award.
The key to the Ladder is the 4 attaching points which provide greater security and stability. It is suitable for both sail and power vessels with up to 6 foot topsides-water to gunwale.
The “soft” design is unlike typical boarding ladders, this mesh boarding ladder with lightweight rungs that won`t clobber the victim when the boat rolls.
SOS Marine is keeping it simple by improving affordable safety & rescue equipment for both marine professionals and the leisure industry.
SOS Marine`s is an Australian manufacturer so well respected and highly regarded that 12 National Defence Forces worldwide are experiencing the SOS Australian quality. SOS Marine are exhibiting in the Australian Pavilion at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS), stand 11.726.
