DESCRIPTION:The Coomera Marine Precinct comes alive as the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) and Marine Jobs proudly present the 2024 Gold Coast Marine Jobs & Careers Expo!   \nScheduled for Saturday 7 September\, this FREE-to-attend event serves as a pivotal platform showcasing the diverse career opportunities within the Gold Coast maritime and marine sector. The Expo aims to inform attendees about opportunities across various industry sub-sections\, including defence\, sustainment\, tourism\, fisheries\, shipping\, manufacturing\, superyachts\, commercial operations\, and related supply chain industries. \n\nThe Coomera River becomes a connector for immersive experiences which include:  \n\nInformation sessions\, Q&A’s and presentations\nTours of the local shipyards\nLive and immersive on-water experiences\nDirect connections to apprenticeships\, jobs and career opportunities\nFree training and education advice\nLive demonstrations\n\n\nThe main expo activity will be held at the Riviera Australia facility\, located at 50 Waterway Dr\, Coomera. Access to the event can be made via the waterfront boardwalk of the Boat Works and Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard facilities.  \nA free return bus service will run every ten minutes from the main event carpark at 37 Waterway Dr\, Coomera. On-street and limited parking will be available within the shipyards. \nPlease refer to the below map for further directions. \n\n \n  \n\nATTENDEE REGISTRATION \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Marine Jobs & Careers Expo\, free for all attendees\, will offer job and career guidance to aspiring apprentices\, job seekers\, future and current university students\, transitioning defence personnel\, technical tradespeople\, and experienced individuals exploring a career change. \n\n\n\nOn the day\, attendees are encouraged to explore the live jobs board to connect with immediate land and sea-based employment opportunities. \nRegister your attendance here \n\n\n\nExplore the attendee event flyer here \n  \nBUSINESS REGISTRATION \nAIMEX is excited to deliver this one-of-a-kind marine-focused jobs and careers expo to support local businesses to attract talent and address the critical skills shortage that exists within the region. The event enables smaller-scale family-operated businesses an equal opportunity to larger organisations to address their immediate and long-term workforce capability requirements. \nWe invite local marine industry businesses\, training providers\, recruitment agencies\, and other organizations supporting the Gold Coast marine industry supply chain to express their interest in participating in the event.
