lowres2With over 120 delegates present from across the globe, the vibe at the Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference in Sanctuary Cove recently was one of determination to succeed. Now in its third consecutive year, the conference has again left delegates feeling satisfied and inspired with the plethora of information at hand.

Co-organisers AIMEX and Superyacht Australia work to ensure the conference contention is to provide the valuable information and opportunities to do business to delegates stimulating the industry to return to their businesses with energy and new ideas and contacts to do business.

A follow up survey of delegates maintained 100% satisfaction with the 2 day conference. The majority noted aspect of the conference that the delegates found to be beneficial was the high quality networking opportunities and broad range of delegates in attendance.

ASMEX is held to provide the Australian superyacht and marine export industry the opportunity to share ideas, discuss new markets and talk about legislation affecting the industry’s ability to exploit all revenue channels. The conference proved a hotbed of ideas and a lineup of insightful, and straight-shooting, speakers.

ASMEX delegates comments included:

It’s a fantastic opportunity for people in this industry to meet each other, bounce ideas and experiences and look at ways to boost this industry that Australia needs to look after! Stephanie Muller, Underwriting Manager, Trident Marine Insurance

Once again I found the 2013 ASMEX conference extremely valuable for our business.
I was able to get a good understanding of how the Australian marine industry is traveling and the greatest opportunities and threats before us, but I also learnt a lot about potential opportunities for MUIR in other markets and the best way to approach this.
Matthew Johnston, Managing Director, Muir Winches Australia

The ASMEX conference was a very well organised and attended event. I was most impressed with the diversity of attendees who represented the full breadth of the marine industry in Australia. As part of the networking opportunities I was able to seek out technical and market opinions regarding our products, in addition there were some important questions that I have had in my mind for a while, that were able to be answered by the various guest speakers and attendees.  Mark Miocevich, Managing Director, VEEM

Sponsors of ASMEX were proud to be associated with the 2013 conference and sponsorship opportunities for the 2014 ASMEX conference are now available by contacting vsmith@aimex.asn.au
