Aurora Global Logistics is very pleased to announce official sponsorship of Andrew Abrahams – Adventure 4 a Cure Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge 2013.
Andrew Abrahams is Australia’s long distance rowing world record holder and in less than six months he will be taking part in the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge. Commencing December 2, this race is considered one of the world’s toughest nautical challenges and is the ultimate test in mental and physical endurance.
Andrew will row solo across 5,000 km (3,000 nautical miles) from San Sebastin De La Gomera across an unforgiving ocean to English Harbour, Antigua to raise $500,000 for Disadvantaged Children in the Community. In the process Andrew will have to overcome harsh weather conditions along with having to be completely self-sufficient in maintaining his boat, his health and his morale.
