David Bentley Yacht Design have continued their long association with Cheoy Lee Shipyards in Hong Kong, this time in the commercial field.
The design work involved interior layout & external styling for a 16.5M Ferry to be operated by Shun Tak – China Travel Ship Management to run very short in shore routes within Macau.
The ferry will carry 50 passengers & 5 Crew & is powered by 2 Volvo D11 Turbo Charged Diesel Engines driving through IPS 650 drive legs with twin counter rotating forward facing propellers to give a surface speed of approx. 25knots.
Construction is GRP & built to CCS classification.
