The Club Marine Australian Marine Export & Superyacht Industry Awards are presented annually to reward the outstanding achievements of Australian marine industry exporters and the Australian superyacht industry manufacturers and service providers. This year, Superior has been awarded for their outstanding effort and outcomes in 2013. Superior has been awarded the ‘Best Marine Export Performance – Medium Exporter’ award.
The Awards were announced at the Industry Gala Dinner at the InterContinental Resort in Sanctuary Cove, Queensland on Tuesday 20 May 2014.
Superior manufactures a variety of marine berthing systems, industrial floatation and accessories for commercial, domestic, private and government clients. Superior has been owned by John and Jackie Hogan since 2002, when it was purchased from the original founder. 2013 marked Superiors 25th anniversary.
Superior has always had some export activity, however their export effort really accelerated with a strategic realignment of products and distribution in 2006. Continual investment in attendance at international boat and trade shows has led to the development of new international contacts and the enhancement of existing relationships. Superior has exported products to Malaysia, Korea, UAE, Fiji, NZ, Seychelles, India, New Caledonia, Hong Kong, Oman, Qatar, Republic of Sudan, China, Indonesia and Taiwan.
