VEEM Limited, Australian manufacturer of the VEEM Gyro stabiliser is very pleased to announce that agreement has been reached for the formation of a new VEEM Gyro sales agency based in Fort Lauderdale. The new company (Halo Ironworks Inc.), President is well known Fort Lauderdale businessman, Mr Mark Tomlinson. Mark has many years of successful experience in the sale and repair of marine propellers in the Fort Lauderdale area. The new agency provides VEEM Gyro with the support of an 8000 sq ft facility including a training centre, conference room, storage and workshops. The agreement will be formally executed at the Fort Lauderdale Show.
“We are really excited to be able to announce this relationship with a dedicated VEEM Gyro sales agency that shares our commitment to excellent customer support, and is ideally located. We are in ongoing discussions with Halo aimed at also establishing them as an Authorised Service Centre”, said VEEM Gyro Product Manager Paul Steinmann.
The VEEM Gyro model range includes the VEEM Gyro 120, VEEM Gyro 260 and VEEM Gyro 1000. The name of each model reflects the rated stabilizing torque developed (in kNm). The model range has been specifically developed for Superyachts from 27m in length upwards to megayachts.
The VG 120 will be on display at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and METS this year. VEEM Gyro Product Manager Paul Steinmann, will be on hand to answer any queries. At Fort Lauderdale Mr. Mark Tomlinson, President of the new VEEM Gyro Sales Agency, Halo Ironworks Inc., will also be in the stand (stand 711 in the Yachting Tent). At METS the Northern European Sales Agent Mr. Jan Bruggeman, for Ship Motion Group, will be on the stand (stand 10.320 in The Superyacht Pavilion).
Very successful sea trials of the VG120 in the waters off Fremantle, Western Australia have now emphatically proven the previously claimed performance of the VEEM Gyros. Video footage and documentation of these trials is available on request at the company’s website (see contacts below).
