Originally from Germany, Michaela never anticipated a career in the marine insurance industry, yet her journey into this world has been both successful and rewarding. Her earlier career, however, was far removed from the marine world, Michaela spent two decades as a national and international equestrian competitor, representing Germany in show jumping. The discipline, focus, and determination required in that sport now underpin her leadership style and approach to business.
